  • Mr Gazecki defended his proposal as family friendly and denied being an elitist

A polo entrepreneur who plans to turn part of Bondi into an exclusive beach club with an $80 entry fee has defended his controversial proposal, insisting he isn’t an ‘elitist’.

Janek Gazecki made a proposal to Waverley Council to erect luxury cabanas roped off from the public over a 40 metre stretch of sand on Australia’s most iconic beach.

But the former lawyer’s goal to take over two per cent of the beach near Roscoe Street to serve expensive food and cocktails to ‘high net worth’ customers was met with swift

Growing J's Breakfast Club to mark five years in Gary with week of special events

J’s Breakfast Club in Gary is shown.

J’s Breakfast Club started as a carryout restaurant on 11th and Grant streets in Gary five years ago, but the establishment blew up into a popular dining spot that hosted a presidential candidate during the primary and will soon start construction on a new location at 2601 Broadway.

The popular breakfast spot in Gary’s University Park neighborhood, whose menu includes shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles, plans to celebrate its fifth anniversary in the Steel City with a week of events.

“Our growth and longevity are due to community support,” owner Joslyn Kelly said. “We want to thank them for their loyalty with events and activities that set the stage for the next five years and beyond.”

J’s Breakfast Club will celebrate Random Acts of Love All Day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, host a WLTH 1370

‘Seven’ Man United players could leave the club this week

With just less than one week of the summer transfer window remaining, there’s a lingering sense that Manchester United’s business is far from complete.

In terms of arrivals, United have welcomed Donny van de Beek from Ajax and that’s about it amongst the first team.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the same can be said for outgoings, starting with Andreas Pereira.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 24-year-old midfielder will join Lazio on loan for the 2020/21 season, with the option to sign him for €27 million there next year.

As per, Luke Gardner,

“There were a lot of people interested right away,” Sean Anderson said of attention that followed the first Have You Heard? story on his business.

He said he had to make sure to jump through the correct licensing hoops first.

“That’s kind of been the idea of this place from the start. We want to do this right.”

Tailwaggers offers doggie day care, boarding, baths and nail care, and eventually will have a delivery service to pick up and drop off dogs.

Anderson, who is halfway through his junior year at Wichita State University, was inspired by the sociology and anthropology degrees he’s pursuing when it came to the Social Club part of his business name.
