Ballroom dance classes are returning to the Anderson Arts Center this fall with COVID-19 precautions in place. Beginner and intermediate classes will be taught in the Kemper Center’s Simmons Gymnasium in four-week sessions in September and October.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 15, couples can join the Introduction to Ballroom Dance class from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, or join the Technique Enhancement class from 7-8 p.m. Thursdays starting Sept. 17.
To ensure local and state safety regulations are being followed, instructors and students will be required to wear masks through the duration of the classes. Capacity will be limited so that couples can socially distance while they dance together.
