A quick look inside Taqueria La Herradura

The Taqueria La Herradura Mexican eatery got its start in Knoxville four years ago selling tacos and other dishes out of a food truck, and now it will be selling its food in Bearden to customers waiting in their vehicles.
While the signs have been up for several weeks, proprietor Jose Meza said his restaurant in the former Chick-fil-A drive through at 7063 Kingston Pike should be opening before the end of the month, pending a final inspection from local officials.
With both their quick-service philosophy and the current coronavirus pandemic making drive-through restaurant service even more appealing, Meza thought this restaurant site was perfect.
