Shoreline salmon and trout, scarce as they have been are on southern Lake Michigan, lead the sprawling raw-file Midwest Fishing Report; and there is wondering how the beautifully warm week will impact effort for fishing and catching.

Once again shoreline salmon lead this sprawling raw-fie Midwest Fishing Report, but I suspect the forecast warm weather will spark a weekend to remember for inland and river fishing, too.

I heard there’s Kings starting to porpoise around the harbor.I weighed a nice 9 lb Brown yesterday [Monday]. Truthfully the past week hasn’t had very many fishermen around.
