  • President Donald Trump’s finances came under scrutiny this week after The New York Times published an investigation into his federal income tax returns, which he has concealed from the public.
  • The investigation found that Trump raked in millions every year but paid little or no taxes for much of the last two decades. In 2016 and 2017, he paid just $750 in income taxes, the report said.

Trump has lost more than $315 million on his golf courses over the last 20 years, bombshell report finds

  • President Donald Trump has lost $315.6 million since 2000 from the 15 golf courses he owns in the US, Scotland, and Ireland, The New York Times found in a bombshell report published Sunday. 
  • Trump bought his National Doral golf resort in Miami for $150 million in 2012 and, over the next six years, lost $162.3 million on the property, according to Trump’s tax documents obtained by The Times. 
  • The president’s three European golf courses have reported a total of $63.6 million in losses. 
  • The losses that Trump has experienced at his golf courses aren’t an anomaly — The Times investigation found the president has lost millions of dollars at nearly all of his major businesses.

After bombshell decision, high school football is back in business today

Jeremy Werner was pretty excited to get Patrick Mahomes on his fantasy football team.

But he’s far more thrilled to get Will Ozdych, Kevin Wisniewski and the rest of his seniors back on his John Glenn football team.

In a bombshell announcement Thursday, the Michigan High School Athletic Association reinstated football for this fall – 20 days after postponing the season to the spring due to coronavirus concerns – and suddenly everything has changed.

As of today, high school football players are back in the game.

“For the first time ever, I joined a fantasy football league on ESPN,” said Werner, the 11th-year head coach of the Bobcats. “I didn’t know what I was going to do with my weekends. My wife has been making birthday party plans and all kinds of fun stuff – then football popped up.”
