The special tourist visa (STV) scheme is starting to gain momentum as overseas offices under the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) report high interest from tour agents.

After the cabinet approved the STV scheme last week, all TAT offices in Europe received a number of calls and emails asking for more details about the visa process and available period, said TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn.

For instance, the TAT London office reported 31 inquiries on one day after the news broke. But the scheme still requires an official announcement from the Immigration Bureau, meaning the TAT can clarify little at the moment.

Mr Yuthasak said that although tourists and tour agents from many countries have shown interest in booking long vacations via STV, Thailand may begin with low-risk countries first, such as those in Scandinavia and Central

Texas Instruments has increased its dividend for 16 consecutive years, showcasing a decent commitment to rewarding shareholders for the risks they take by investing. Analysts are expecting it to be able to continue to grow its earnings by around 10% annualized over the next five years, which gives decent reason to believe that dividend growth can continue as well.

An integrated circuit company well known for its calculators, Texas Instruments has product lines that cross industries as diverse as education, industrial, automotive, and communications. That broad reach means that its fortunes aren’t tied to one particular customer or product line, which also helps provide reason to believe its operations can be sustained virtually no matter what comes next.

Pakistan rejects ‘misleading’ Indian media reports on diplomat’s visa

While responding to media queries regarding the visa matter of a senior Indian diplomat, the Ministry of Foreign Affair (MoFa) on Sunday said that leaking misleading information and twisting facts was not only contrary to diplomatic norms but also not helpful in the conduct of diplomatic relations.

“The news in certain sections of Indian media, quoting sources in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, regarding assignment visa for senior Indian diplomat Jayant Khobragade proposed as Charge d’ Affaires at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, is misleading,” Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said in a statement.

He said that following India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Pakistan took a number of steps, including the downgrading of diplomatic relations with India. “The purpose of downgrading the relations was to register Pakistan’s strong protest and condemnation of India’s illegal,

Current WWE Executive Bruce Prichard has shared his opinion on what went wrong for Chris Masters during The Masterpiece’s first WWE run.

During a recent episode of Bruce Prichard’s Something To Wrestle With podcast, the current Executive Director of Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown suggested that it may have been a case of “too much, too soon” in reference to Chris Masters’ WWE push in 2005.

Prichard also stated that The Masterpiece’s “demons” perhaps got the better of him during this time period:

“I just think that Chris had his own demons during that time frame and they got the best of him, It was unfortunate, because I think that first of all, the human being – when you have Chris in a clearer head, I think he’s a sweetheart of a human being and someone that really wanted to make it in the business that had the

Jet Fuel Is Now So Cheap It’s Being Blended for Use by Ships

(Bloomberg) — The fuel that powers passenger planes is normally among the most expensive oil products, but in a sign of the times the coronavirus has turned it into a blending component for typically cheaper shipping fuel.

Straight-run kerosene, usually processed into jet fuel, is now being used to make very low-sulfur fuel oil for the maritime industry amid a plunge in consumption by airlines. Higher than normal amounts of diesel and vacuum gasoil are also finding their way into shipping fuel.

The shift, almost unthinkable just a year ago, reflects the obliteration of demand the aviation industry has suffered in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. And with the International Air Transport Association not expecting air travel to get back to pre-virus levels until 2024, it may be a feature of the market for some time to come.

Jet fuel components were used for blending in April and May

5 Rabbit Cerveceria closing suburban brewery, eyes ‘new business model’ in a new location

5 Rabbit Cervecería is selling its equipment and shuttering its suburban brewery, but plans to launch “a new business model” to keep the brand afloat, brewery founder Andres Araya said.

Load Error

5 Rabbit, which launched in 2011 with a trail blazing emphasis on Latin flavors and themes in its beer, is becoming “less focused on distribution” to bars and stores and will therefore leave its Bedford Park production brewery, Araya said. It will sell its equipment via online auction Oct. 29 to Nov. 5.

Araya said he hopes to move 5 Rabbit to a smaller retail-focused operation “a little closer to the city.”

5 Rabbit also still hopes to open a brewpub in the Pilsen neighborhood, Araya said. The brewery launched an online fundraiser to help finance the brewpub, but ended the fundraiser in May after failing to meet its goal.

Though craft beer distribution has become intensely competitive
